🏔️ THE LEGEND OF AFGHANISTAN

Born in the Hindu Kush mountains, the Lifchik was the Soviet response to the needs of assault troops. Deemed too cumbersome, bulletproof vests were often abandoned in favor of this lightweight and offensive carrying system.

This Lifchik-2 (Type R22) model is a faithful reproduction of the equipment used by the Grenadiers and Special Forces. It offers a massive carrying capacity while leaving the back free for the RD-54 backpack.

⚙️ A MODULAR STRUCTURE (2 PIECES)

The great strength of this vest is its modularity. The set sold includes both parts, connected by straps and rings, but usable separately:

1. THE CHEST RIG (UPPER SECTION):

Carrying system: Padded "H" shaped shoulder straps (Shoulder Pads) to distribute the load without cutting into the shoulders.

Fire capacity:

3x AK magazine pouches (secure closure).

4x Pockets for hand grenades (Type F-1 / RGD-5).

2x Locations for signal flares (Flares).

2. THE "VOG HANGER" (LOWER PART / BELT):

This belt is specifically designed for the grenadier voltigeur.

Capacity: 10x compartments for 40mm VOG-25 grenades (for GP-25 under-barrel grenade launcher).

Fastening: Horizontal back strap for waist support.

🛠️ MATERIALS & SETTINGS

"Function Material" fabric: A robust technical canvas, resistant to abrasion and weathering, imitating the grain of late Soviet equipment.

One Size (Adjustable): The vest is fully adjustable in height and width via the webbing straps, allowing it to be worn over a bulletproof vest or a thick winter jacket.
