☭ THE EASTERN SOLDIER'S BELT
This was the most widespread belt in the Red Army from the late 1960s until the fall of the USSR. Unlike parade belts with their shiny gold-plated brass buckle (which attract bullets), this model is the "Field" version.
The metal buckle is painted olive green/grey (protective paint) to prevent glare in the sun and ensure camouflage. This is the exact model used in combat in Afghanistan.
⚙️ "INDESTRUCTIBLE" MATERIALS
Structure: Thick canvas with a coating process (rubberized/granular appearance). It is extremely strong, rot-proof, and does not stretch like low-grade leather.
Buckle: Steel stamped with the Soviet star, coated with anti-reflective tactical paint.
Width: 45mm (Military Standard), compatible with all holsters (Makarov Holsters), magazine pouches and the Y-Strap sling system.
📏 SIZE GUIDE (SOVIET SYSTEM)
This belt is generally worn over the jacket (Afghan or M69). Allow for some extra length compared to your civilian trouser size.
SIZE 1 (M):
Total length: approximately 105 cm .
For a waist circumference (dressed) up to 100 cm.
SIZE 2 (L):
Total length: approximately 115 cm .
For a waist circumference (dressed) up to 110 cm.

⚠️ FITTING TIP: If you are between sizes, choose Size 2 (L) . It's always possible to add another hole or adjust the buckle, whereas a belt that's too short is unusable on a winter jacket.
