🪂 THE HELMET OF MODERN RUSSIAN PARATROOPERS (VDV)

No more canvas models from the Soviet era. Here is the replica of the modern soft helmet used by Russian paratroopers (VDV) as part of contemporary Ratnik/VKPO type equipment.

This model faithfully reproduces the EMR (Digital Flora) camouflage commonly associated with current equipment, to integrate perfectly with a modern VDV uniform or Russian paratrooper training equipment.

During a parachute jump or progression in a landing zone, the danger comes from accidental shocks : impact with the ground, collisions with equipment or with other parachutists.

Modern "Sausage" Structure

The top and back of the helmet are fitted with dense foam padded bands, designed to absorb light impacts during parachute opening, the roll on landing, or rapid handling under canopy.

Technical Materials

Unlike older heavy helmets made of leather or thick cotton, this model uses breathable fabric and robust canvas, better suited for intensive training and prolonged use under a harness.

It dissipates heat well — essential for loaded jumps and long ground preparations.
