☭ THE UNIFORM OF THE AFGHANISTAN WAR

This is a faithful reproduction of the famous M88 "Afghanka" field uniform. Introduced in the early 1980s to modernize the equipment of the Red Army, it became the symbol of the modern Soviet soldier.

Unlike older uniforms that lacked storage, the M88 was designed with multiple tactical pockets , inspired by the real needs of the mountainous terrain of Afghanistan. Its khaki color (leaning towards sand/mustard) was the standard army color until the fall of the USSR.

This model is the summer version (Summer Training Suit):

Breathability: Made from dense yet breathable cotton . This fabric lives, fades, and softens over time for an ultra-authentic look.

Tactical Cup:

Jacket: Button closure under flap, 2 chest pockets, 2 sleeve pockets, 2 lower jacket pockets.

Trousers: Straight cut with large cargo pockets on the thighs (a revolution for the Soviet era) and reinforced knees.
